Town Garden -
This Doylestown garden was installed
in the spring of 2010 and features a
flagstone terrace with a water feature,
stone wall grill wrap around, and
stepping stone paths.

A series of tight jointed, patterned flagstone walkways provide access from the house to the main terrace and through a gate to the public sidewalk. Secondary pathways of contrasting, irregularly shaped stepping stones add variety to the garden as well as additional means of access. The grill is set within a stone wall wrap around which ties the grill to the terrace by hiding the back of the grill and connecting to a lower height seating wall. To the side of the terrace, a fountain defines a side seating area that becomes its own little room. Together, the fountain and the seating wall create a framed view of the back yard. As a final touch, a future fenced in vegetable garden will complete the overall garden.
