The process begins with an on-site meeting to review the conditions of your property and the goals for the gardens.  There is no charge for our time to hold the intial meeting.

One of the objects of this meeting is to determine if it will be necessary to create a landscape plan.  If the areas to be addressed are clearly defined and straightforward, we typically forego the creation of a plan and begin creating proposals for the items discussed.   We recommend the creation of a plan if the scope of the work will benefit from the design process, which assists both you and us when determining details and coordinating elements such as driveways, pools, hardscaping, plantings and lighting.

The process of creating a plan begins your review of a proposal.  The proposal amount is designed to cover some of our expenses incurred during the design process but is kept minimal due to our goal of installing the final plan.  Upon approval of the design proposal, we visit to your property to obtain detailed information such as the topography and the location of existing structures and plants.

The next step is putting our concepts on paper for your review.  The concepts show potential shapes, dimensions and locations for hardscaping and plantings as well as any other items to be included.  While reviewing the concepts, we blend your preferences into a more detailed plan for the purpose of pricing.  When the plan and preliminary pricing are approved we create a final plan with proposals for installation.
