Entrance Garden -
Installed in the Fall of 2010, this
Carversville, Pennsylvania garden
features new plantings that enhance
the views and entrance experience
to the front of the home.
The prior plantings blocked views in and out of key Architectural elements like the front door and bay window. New plantings are arranged to allow open views of the home while the existing River Birch and new Sweetbay Magnolias provide a picture frame of the facade. The Sweetbay Magnolia also soften views of the parking court while providing a fragrant gateway to the front walk. Flowering shrubs and perennials are placed along the existing walkway which leads into a new lawn courtyard surrounded by an evergreen Boxwood hedge.
