Drive Renovation -
Installed in the Summer of 2014, this
New Hope, Pennsylvania garden
renovated the driveway and entrance
experience of the home.

The existing driveway had a concrete paver parking area that was not sufficient for visitor parking. Dear Garden Associates replaced the pavers with large irregular flagstones, thick enough to withstand the weight of vehicles, and elongated the area to allow for better access. The natural flagstone continues in the walk and steps that lead to the front and side doors. Concrete modular walls were replaced with dry-stack limestone, selected to match the home’s stone veneer. A grove of Serviceberry with uplighting and additional deer resistant plantings softens the entrance walk and adds seasonal color. To the side of the front door, a boulder wall was installed to create a level plateau and a fieldstone stair case was added for access to the rear gardens.
