The process begins with an on-site meeting to review your property and the goals for the gardens. There is no charge for our time to hold the initial meeting. If the areas to be addressed are clearly defined, we typically develop proposals and forego the creation of a plan. We recommend creating a plan if the scope of work will benefit from the design process, which assists both you and us when coordinating design elements and details. A design proposal is developed to cover some of our expenses incurred during the design process but is kept minimal due to our goal of installing the final plan. Upon approval of the design proposal, we visit your property to obtain information such as the location of existing structures and plants.
The next step is putting our concepts on paper for your review. The concepts show potential shapes, dimensions and locations for hardscaping and plantings as well as any other items to be included. While reviewing the concepts, we blend your preferences into a more detailed plan with pricing. When the plan and preliminary pricing are approved we create a final plan with proposals for installation.
